1. Who we are

TrustScore ("we", "us") operates trustscores.co and provides reputation-analysis reports for businesses. Contact: info@trustscores.co.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, authentication identifiers.
• Search & audit data: business names, place IDs, and public reputation signals you request a score for.
• Payment data: processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store card numbers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, device/browser type, IP-derived country (via privacy-respecting analytics).

3. How we use it

To deliver Trust Scores and audit reports, manage your account, process payments, send transactional emails, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process data under contract (delivering the service you requested), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), legal obligation (tax/accounting), and consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies).

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the service: hosting & database (Supabase / Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), email delivery, analytics, and the Google Places API for business lookups. All are bound by data-processing agreements.

6. Retention

Account and audit data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure, unless we must retain it longer for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict processing, by emailing info@trustscores.co. EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted databases at rest, row-level security on user data, and signed webhook verification.
